Sacroiliac joint fusion

Sacroiliac joint fusion is a minimally invasive procedure that stabilizes an injured sacroiliac joint.

When the sacroiliac joints that connect the sacrum, located at the base of the spine, to the iliac bones which make up the pelvis become damaged due to arthritis and other conditions, the sacroiliac joints can become painful.

Sacroiliac joint fusion relieves that pain and has a short recovery time, which allows patients to resume normal activity fairly soon after the procedure is completed.
